Scope of the service
These terms govern your use of the public Bardo website, the protected dashboard, the hosted account layer, subscription billing, cloud connection workflows for supported external AI platforms, and the related service workflows provided by Armando A. Calderon.
Bardo is a software tool and SaaS connection service, not a game line, rules publisher, or hosted gameplay authority. You decide how you use Bardo with your chosen tabletop RPGs, clients, prompts, local files, and connected AI platforms.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for the account, credentials, payment method, connected AI platforms, machines, and local environments tied to your Bardo account. Keep your local workspaces, secrets, and approval flows under your control.
You may only subscribe or use paid service features if you are legally allowed to do so. If a minor uses your account or payment method, that responsibility stays with the account holder or authorized adult, not with Armando A. Calderon. Bardo is not directed to children under 13.
Trials, billing, and cancellation
Bardo may offer a Clerk-managed 3-day trial for hosted account access. If the trial is started without a payment method, it will not automatically convert into a paid subscription unless you later add a payment method and choose to subscribe. Trial availability is limited by Clerk's eligibility rules.
Paid subscriptions, if available to you, renew until canceled. You can manage or cancel billing through your Bardo account dashboard and Clerk's billing management flow. Cancellation stops future renewal, but access may continue until the end of the current paid period or active trial where applicable.
No refunds apply except where Puerto Rico, United States, or other applicable law requires otherwise. Prices, taxes, and fees should be reviewed before checkout.
Acceptable use
Do not use Bardo to break the law, interfere with account access, abuse billing flows, bypass approval checks, or attempt to access workspaces, sessions, or data that you are not authorized to control.
AI assisted outputs and actions still require human review. You remain responsible for the prompts you send, the tools and TTRPG systems you connect, the cloud campaign data or local files you expose, and the decisions you make based on generated output.
Changes and availability
Bardo may update, improve, or remove parts of the public website or hosted account surface over time. When those changes materially affect these terms, this page will be updated.
Bardo is provided on an AS IS and AS AVAILABLE basis. Armando A. Calderon does not promise uninterrupted service, specific gameplay outcomes, or error free operation. Except where the law does not allow it, Armando A. Calderon is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
If you use an external client, model provider, payment provider, or other external service through or alongside Bardo, you are also responsible for complying with that provider's terms and policies.
These terms are governed by applicable Puerto Rico and United States law unless another mandatory consumer protection rule applies. Legal, billing, or account questions can be sent to bard.stdio@gmail.com.
